Andrew Chesson, MD
Prior to completing his residency at Louisiana State (Lafayette) University in Family Practice, Dr. Chesson received his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. In addition to his practice at Catawba Valley Family Medicine – Maiden, he is the CMO of CVMG and Vice President of Medical Staff Services at CVMC. Dr. Chesson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and both the Catawba County and North Carolina Medical Societies.
Keith McManus, MD
Dr. McManus is a board-certified physician with 28 years experience in family medicine. After earning a doctorate of medicine from UNC Chapel Hill in 1984, he has held several teaching roles and is currently an instructor for the Department of Family Medicine at UNC School of Medicine and UNC School of Nursing. Having spent thirteen-years serving in military Special Forces, Dr. McManus is now a disabled veteran with experience serving in both enlisted and commissioned officer active duty.
Teresa Stump, DO
Dr. Stump is an osteopathic medical graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in California. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center while serving in the United States Air Force. Prior to joining Catawba Valley Family Medicine – Maiden, Dr. Stump practiced at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Dr. Stump is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is board certified in Family Medicine.
Cindy Pressler, PA
Cindy Pressler, PA-C, has worked as a physician assistant at Catawba Valley Family Medicine – Maiden since 1998. She graduated from Duke University with a Master in Health Sciences and concurrent physician assistant degree. Prior to that she received a Master of Science and Education in Public Health and worked in chronic disease prevention. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants
